Auditions for The 2010 Dickens Carolers will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010. If you are interested in spreading Christmas cheer and having a great time doing it, please see the information below on how to set up an audition time.

Gethsemane Lutheran Church

11560 SE Market, Portland, OR

Directions:  From I-205, go east on Division.  Turn Left onto 112th Avenue.  Turn right at the light onto Market.  The church is an A-frame building four blocks on the right.  Enter from the west side of the building. 

If you are interested in becoming a Dickens Caroler, please contact Heather at 503-785-0310 or email at to set up an appointment.  A resume with photo is helpful, but not mandatory.  Auditions consist of a brief warm-up, followed by a solo performance, (that's you), singing a Christmas carol of your choice.  We will discuss your qualifications and availability in December as well as a rehearsal schedule.  

Note from the Music Director:  Our Christmas Music includes approximately 85 Christmas songs varying from traditional to contemporary to downright funny!  You will be expected to learn (or at least be "extremely" familiar with) all of this music outside of rehearsal, and work on performance and blend during rehearsal.  It sounds like a lot, and it is, but it is also fun and we will provide the support you need.  If it sounds like too much work, or you won't have the time to put in to learning the music, you need not audition.  For the rest of you, WELCOME!  We look forward to hearing you!
